I guess it isn’t Michael Irvin’s #88 if the Cowboys are giving it to Dez Bryant. I think Bryant will already be under enough pressure to be a #1 receiver that he won’t even know what jersey number he’s wearing once the games start.
sorry this isnt an answer lol but you said you worked one of john skeltons track meets are you a former coach? And if possible what did he run im very intrigued to meet someone else from el paso lol
Well, it is just Michael Irvin. Take away Emmit Smith, Troy Aikman, Jay Novacek and a few other players and all you have is an average receiver.

He’s not wearing Jerry Rice’s number. He’s wearing some commentater’s number. Dez will be fine out there.

They should do like the Raiders and retire no numbers. The number belongs to the team and whoever wants the number should get to rent it.
