Dallas Texas And Ft Worth Hunters?

Any Dallas – Ft Worth Hunters interested in Hunting Alaska in the near future?
Iv’e been wrtting here under the handle Glacierwolf. I am a long time Alaskan hunter, trapper and certified Alaskan hunter safety instructor. There isn’t a square mile of Alaska I have not worked on, flown over, hunted, trapped, fished, been stuck, stranded or crashed a plane on thanks to 7 tours of duty with the US Coast Guard and 10 years volunteering as an Advanced EMT doing bush and mountain rescue.
I am heading to Dallas Jan 29 to Feb 4th for business training. If any locals want to hear the scoop on how to hunt Alaska like a local for cheap – and what to expect and bring – I got time to get together. I’ve helped allot of people fullfil their dream of an Alaskan hunt. Be happy to help. I’ll trade – my Alaskan knowledge for which steak houses to visit and which to avoid while in Dallas.

Well I live in West Texas but I know a couple of good places to visit in Dallas. I personally love to hang around Addison off Beltline rd….it does intercept with North Dallas Toll rd. Anyhow going north on the Toll you’ll take a left on beltline. There is a couple of place I would suggest, one is Fogo De Chow…it will be on the left side about 1-2miles down. This is a Brazilian steak house. They have these tokens on the table…red side means stop, green side means go. This tells the waiter when to stop bring food! It’s all great stuff and VERY far from some buffet place. They come by with fillets, lamb, chicken etc. Now the bill isn’t cheap either…about 40,00 a person.
Also there is another place that is about the same just almost across the street called Texas De Brazil.
Now for breakfast or lunch, they got a hooters across the road back towards the Toll or a La Madelin on the other side of the Toll off beltline. La Madelin is like a French type cafe with good breakfast and sandwiches.
Anyhow, that should get you started and welcome to Texas!
    Ray
