Does Any One Have A Good Bar-b-que Sauce Recipe Which Does Not Contain Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste Or Ketchup?
Saturday, February 20th, 2010In the 50’s/60’s, there was a bar-b-que establishment in Dallas, Texas, named Shoemaker’s. Served sliced meats with a thin bar-b-que sauce that contained no tomato products. They were in business for years with many stores but seem to disappear over night … however, I ‘ve never forgotten their bar-b-que sandwiches and the flavorful sauce.
