Will this college game be aired in my area?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

I want to watch the Oregon/Purdue that is being aired on ABC. My dilemma is i live in Dallas. The TV schedule says The longhorn game is also being aired on ABC at the same time. I talked to an employee at No Frills Grill Sports Bar in Dallas, and he said if the game is televised that they will be showing it. Does anybody know if he is correct? Is it possible that this establishment can air all (9) of the 2:30 games that are scheduled to be on ABC or just the one that’s in the region??

Do yall remember this playoff game?

Is Allen Iverson still gonna participate in the 2010 NBA All Star Game in Dallas?

Saturday, May 22nd, 2010

ANy news if iverson is still planning on participating in the all star game? I haven’t heard much about it since the day Tnt announced he was a starter and the whole controversy about he shouldn’t be in there. Last i heard hes been missing games for philly due to “personal reasons”. Ive been an iverson fan pretty much his whoel career and his accomplishments in the NBA are unmatched by any…but personally i think he’d be better off to just decline his invite liek charles said and go ahead and let one more player in the eastern conference who got snubbed to get a spot…like. David lee, Josh Smith etc. Because if you’re true basketball fan like myself then you know that Iverson never really deserved to be in the ballot in the first place…not this year at least. People make the argument that the fans voted him hin so he deserves to play…but the thing is most of those “Fans” don’t even really keep up with the game and probably had no idea that just monthsd ago he was a retired player and on top of that since his return he’s putting up career low numbers and philadelphia has a horrible record so he has no right to be named an all-star this year…i mean Mike Bibby has NEVER made the all-star team in his whole amazing career and he’s actually playin better then ever and he still hasn’t made it…

Albert Haynesworth received a five game suspension for stomping on another players head…Was penalty fair?

Haynesworth Gets Five-Game Suspension
Titans’ Defensive Tackle Stomped Cowboys’ Gurode
AP Sports
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 2) – Albert Haynesworth’s temper has landed him in trouble with teammates and coaches before. By stomping another player’s head, the Tennessee Titans defensive tackle not only disgusted himself, he also drew a five-game suspension – the longest for on-field behavior in NFL history.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Haynesworth stomped on Dallas Cowboys center Andre Gurode’s head Sunday, knocking off his helmet, then kicked and stomped his face. Gurode needed 30 stitches to repair the cuts left by the tackle’s cleats, and plans to talk with his family about whether or not to press charges, his agent told Nashville police Monday.

He won’t be paid while he serves the suspension, effective immediately, which will cost him approximately $190,000.

Should Gurode file criminal charges against Haynesworth? … Your thoughts.

What do you think about the 100-0 Win Basketball Game in Dallas?

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

I just read they fired the coach for not apologizing, who thinks that is the most ridiculous thing ever, You don`t fire someone for an acommplishment, and you don`t apologize for it either they made history, its not there fault the other team couldn`t score, or be better. It should be the coach of the other team who should be fired, he obviously doesn`t care about his team enough to practice, and make them better, which that is what sports is about. To Make you better, til your the best. I would not of apologized anyday, I would celebrate such I Triumphant Victory. When you play a sport you should always play your hardest, and be your best, Whether up or down Ten You Should Fight till the End.

What do you guys think?

Ok this is my replying to the few peoples comments

I`ll Quote this one:
“like 20 girls in the school and only 8 on the team or something like that you have to let up.”
If there are only 20 girls in their school, and 8 on team, why is that anyone elses fault, they all went in on wanting to have a team by themselves, to play basketball, just because they have less people they just get breaks, and people like you feel sorry for them, so you want to help them out.

Someone else said How would you feel if It was me and my team that loss, I would feel like It was our fault we loss, and by that badly, and we didn`t play hard enough, and like we gave up, I would never blame the other team for what they did, and I`ll wait till next game to do better, and Prove more of our season than that one game.

The final thing, This Isn`t football, You can`t eat up the clock that easily, everything has a short time limit, and you got to shoot, and Play DEE
