I still don’t understand how fantasy sports work.
I asked about them in Yahoo Answers before and was told the players are evaluated on how they play a game. There are drafts and fantasy teams and leagues. However, that is all meaningless to me without further information and a concept of fantasy sports.

What is a draft?

How do the players play?
How are they evaluated?
Who evaluates them?
Are there real games?
Do they go outside to the sandlot and mash it out?
Are the games real or fantasy?
Is there a fantasy touch-down or fantasy score?

If a guy has a player from Detroit and another player from Dallas on his fantasy team, how do they play a single game together as team mates?
Aren’t they rivals that play against each other?

How does the whole fantasy sports thingie work please?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my question. I need help on deciding what to buy my boyfriend for Christmas. We’ve been together for 5 months. We met online through mutual friends (he lives in Mexico, I’m in the US) and we’re planning on meeting in person soon. I’m 18 and he’s 22, we really love each other and have plans to get married in the future, once we both finish our studies. He’s going to law school. I know his likes and dislikes, the problem is that he has everything, his family is very wealthy and mine isn’t, so I would appreciate any ideas on what to give him (budget = $300). I know he would like an omega watch, but that is way out of my range. He loves sports (adores the Dallas Cowboys), cars, motorcycles, music, reading. I’m thinking about doing something meaningful and inexpensive, but I would like to get him something else as well. Any ideas? Thank you and Happy Holidays! =)
Oh, one more thing, hehe…I met his family by phone, and I was thinking about getting his parents a box of chocolates along with a Christmas card, a little music box for his oldest sister (15) and a doll for the youngest (7)…would that be appropriate or is it too much? I know I have posted a question like that before, but I have a different question this time around. So, here’s the deal…
My husband and I split up 6 years ago. I filed for divorce, but he refused to sign and subsequently disappeared. Neither I, nor his mother have any idea where he is. So, here’s the question…
Does anyone know of a free site, or have access to a pay site, where I could enter his social security number to find out his location to get him served? I don’t have the money to pay for one of these sites or to hire a P.I. Nor do I have the funds to run a 6 week ad in the newspaper, the Dallas Morning News is expensive. I would be forever in someone’s debt if they were willing and able to help me out.

Mom’s car was stolen by a tow company from her apartment in the 90’s. Now she is old and ill and I would love nothing more than to find it. She still misses this car and yes, it was as sweet as the one in the movie.
I have the VIN number (which I won’t post here), but the standard internet computer programs that use the VIN number DO NOT take a car this old. Maybe the DMV can give me this information? It was Baby Blue, 2 door 357 Gran Torino Sport towed around 1993-for what it is worth.
The car wouldn’t be reported as stolen as whatever tow company took it probably got a Lien against it when my Mom counldn’t pay the fees and they aquired it legally (immorally). I just want the final whereabouts, which I am hoping the VIN number record can show.

Called the DMV and in Texas a tow company has to send two letters in 31 days and it is theirs-they do NOT have to file a lien, they just get it. My Mom is listed as the last registered owner, which means on paper she owns it, but it is gone like the wind. They only have to keep records for 2 years, which has obviously passd. I was able to check 20 other states and it hasn’t been registered in the last 7 years either.
My last step is to bother the apartmet complex to see if they have records of the tow company used (fat chance) and writting a form letter to all tow yards in Dallas in the hopes that I can find it or really, just proof of where it went. I’ve seen the cars flat-as-fritters going to Mexico, I just want to know where it went.. That car to me is the 70’s and my young Mom. Damm.
