Okay I’m from the midwest about 2 hours away from the twin cities. I believe the minnesota northstars were a great team but why sell a team that has a good arena loyal fans. I have an old dallas stars hat by sports specialties I got in colorado last with their really old logo but truly minnesotans and hockey fans the north stars will never leave us.

Besides Allen is it; Jerry Jones of The Dallas Cowboys, George Steinbrenner, owner of the Yankees, Wayne Heizenka, owner of the Tampa Bay Bucs, and some of the others! These are just the ones that popped into my head. I think I read here a few yrs. ago that Paul Allen, worth approx. $36 Billion, has 2 more billion than the next 9 Pro team owners combined so. Not fair at all to enter him …right! I’d love to get say the next 9 owners in actual order! Sports team owners include baseball, basketball, football owners only ok! Thanks ya all!

I have realized that the owner of the New York Yankees George Steinbrenner has high expectations for his ball club, the New York Yankees. Every year, it seems that he wants his team to Win The World Series and if you do not win to his expectations, you face consequences
Also, why does Steinbrenner have high expectations that the owners of most other franchises. For example, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones does not have consequences when the Cowboys do not make the post season. and the Owner of the NBA Detroit Pistons William Davidson does not have consequences for the team not winning the NBA Championship.
Why does New York Yankees owner have such high expectations for the Yankees baseball club when other team owners in other professional sports and Major League Baseball do not expect that everything has to be perfect?

Live in Dallas but many of us cannot stand Jerry Jones since he has tried to squeeze every dollor from the fans pocket. I heard that he was an underhanded businessman while in the oil and gas business in Arkansas the home of Slick Willie Clinton.

Since Jerry has come to Dallas he has attempted and has been successful in shaking down his fans, players and anyone during business at Texas stadium. you can bet he will make the City of Arlington pay through the nose for his 100 million dollor stadium.
