When a sports team wins the superbowl or world series they always already have a shirt ready to go saying their name as superbowl champs. I wonder what happens to the shirts of the other team that say they won the superbowl. For example if Dallas and New England were to be in superbowl this year a company would make shirts that say Dallas Cowboys Superbowl Champs and shirts that say New England Patriorts Superbowl champs. If New England were to win the superbowl what happens to the Dallas Cowboys Superbowl Champs t-shirts??

Cause I wanted my family to move to Highland Park and University Park but my mom says their houses are too overpriced and the people there are probably snotty. It seemed great cause of the beautiful neighborhoods and the school’s rep but now im like.. nah i’d rather not live in a place like that. and its surrounded by like.. ghettos.
So, I want to live in a great town with cool people n stuff. Never been to Texas before.. but my parents are thinking about Sunnyvale in Dallas. What is that place like? The school is new and im worried about how new high schools are.. cause they dont have much tradition and stuff. i dont wanna be a ‘test student’. so i wanna give my parents other options too. What are other great towns in Dallas? I’m black but we don’t wanna live in like too black areas because it means like more crime and stuff. So like basically a place with a great school system, great kids, stuff like that. I have a 4 year old brother so everything, not just the high school, has to be good!
Not like a hick town if theres any in Texas or a town thats too small. In my school my class has like over 700 people! It would suck to have a class with like under 400. And it has to be near Terrell cause my dad has a business there and stuff. So yeah, thats it.

Laws that ban low-slung pants are on the books in several US cities, including Delcambre, Louisiana, where offenders can be fined up to 500 dollars or jailed for up to six months. Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia are among the larger US cities considering similar measures.

Well this is a copy of a note i posted on facebook, it is what me and my friends call the “constitution” of fandom. I wanted to see other non biased opinions of it and see if anyone could give me any “amendments” to it to make it better
Well I’m personally tired of explaining this to everyone I meet when I find out that they are ex: a Dallas cowboys fan (Dana who my cuz’s bf) and yet have absolutely no offiliation with that team. I admit that I am a bandwagon fan of the 49ers, however that is from being raised as one, my dad has always liked the niners so I have as well as a side effect. Any ways this is my post explaining the rules of being a true fan, rules which myself, and the 2 Major brothers established in my sophmore year of high school. You will all find that the points are all very solid and that I am completely right in all the points I put up.
There is officially 3 things that determine a Bandwagon fan from a True fan
1) If the person or family member (immediate, only mom dad, sisters or brothers) attended the college, or played for the professional team are you allowed to call yourself a true fan, If your uncle or aunt went to the school you are not in this category.
2) You must have at least lived part of your life in the surrounding area by the team. EX: I am a Browns and Buckeyes fan, and was born an grew up part of my life in Cleveland OH. If you like the Cowboys and yet haven’t even lived in Texas you are not a true fan (IF a parent lived there you may be an acception to this rule, but only a parent, no siblings, cousins or grandparents) also the parent that grew up there must be a fan of the team
3)This rule only applies with the other two and cannot be used without at least 1 or 2. You must have at least a basic knowledge of the team you like. EX: you gotta at LEAST name 11 players on your football team, doesnt matter if they start or play Offense or Defense, u just gotta name the players. Also to help your case it is advised (but not neccessary) to know the name of the teams field/arena EX:Packers play football at Lambeau
There is also a 4th rule but this rule is not enough to count you as a true fan unless you meet the requirements of at least (1 or 2) +3 included.
4) If your favorite player gets put on a team you are allowed too root for your team, however a true fan is not allowed to root for his players team if they are playing a team he already had a prior fan-obligation with. Example of that last sentence: If Kellen winslow (my favorite player) were traded to the Packers, I could root for the packers just b/c of him, however I am not allowed to talk smack if they beat some1 elses team and I cannot root for the packers if they are playing the Browns.
also I will provide an example of a perosn who only likes a team because of his favorite player :justin Walters is a SAints fan, however Big J, the only reason you are (or were) is because they drafted Reggie Bush.
This rule I developed after consulting with Grant Major. I call it the Mac Kelly rule. Apparently MAc is a Clemson fan, and since he lives in SC he is protected by the 2nd rule, however he has parents who are from South carolina and lives in Columbia (location of South carolina) So the rule goes:
Mac Kelly Rule or rule 5: you can root for any team in the state you live in as long as they are not playing your team at the time (ex: bengals playing the browns for me)
Also there is grant majors (give him full credit) 3 points regarding the Mac Rule:
1st: In college sports, The fan may only root for the school they go to, parents school or sibling school
2nd: If none went to a major college, didnt go to a major college, then you can choose one in the state.
3rd: If there are multiple major teams in a state, then you can choose one. If you flip-flop to another it is bandwagoning
Remember these rules, and dont you let me catch you bandwagoning or you’ll get the verbal *** kicking of a life time people. Be a real fan not one who just follows the beat of the masses. Sides almsot everyone hates bandwagoners except bandwagoners themselves
I’d like to give credit to the people who helped me develop these guidelines
Grant Major
Timmy Major
Donald Shaffer
Justin Walters

A major Texas newspaper is being bombarded with criticism and threats of boycott from outraged longtime subscribers for naming illegal immigrants as the state’s citizens of the year in a much-hyped editorial. In the lengthy end of 2007 editorial the Dallas Morning News wrote quite a tear-jerker naming the illegal immigrant as Texan of the year for, among other things, being decent and hardworking people, brining the state prosperity and hustling to do hard work Americans won’t do.The piece goes on to say that America’s consumer economy depends on illegal immigrants and that the nation cannot survive without them. Yet illegal aliens must endure hatred and abuse by those who benefit from their cheap labor and they are blamed for using public resources—schools and hospitals—to which they aren’t entitled. No mention of the violent illegal immigrants who murdered, raped and committed other atrocious crimes against Americans in 2007, however. They include cop murderers, a pair of Mexicans who in separate incidents killed innocent Americans—an entire family and a college athlete–while driving drunk on U.S. highways and the execution-style shootings of four youths in a Newark schoolyard by an illegal alien free on bail on child rape charges. The Dallas newspaper’s editorial board said it expected some criticism for its year-ender, but never the massive outrage among readers statewide. The paper received more than 150 letters and nearly 1,000 blog postings critical of the editorial. Many threatened to cancel subscriptions or pressure advertisers to stop doing business with the paper. One reader wrote that it was an “asinine article” and another called the writers stupid for supporting illegal aliens and putting everyone in danger. Oblivious editors say they were very surprised at the nastiness of the backlash. A Dallas illegal immigrant activist praised the newspaper for its courage, however. http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/backla…

Lange Banned From HBO Sports
18 June 2009 6:35 PM, PDT
Outrageous comedian Artie Lange has been banned from live sports programming at U.S. cable network HBO following an offensive, expletive-laden rant on a new show.
The Howard Stern Show radio regular upset HBO bosses with an appearance on sportscaster Joe Buck’s new show Joe Buck Live on Monday night by making homophobic remarks and swearing through a rant about his dislike of American football team the Dallas Cowboys.
At one point, he took aim at Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who is dating pop star Jessica Simpson, stating, “It’s like a white-trash gift from God that the f**king Cowboys have a quarterback whose last name rhymes with homo.”
On banning Lange, HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg told the New York Post, “We don’t have any interest in his world.”
In typical fashion, the controversial comic told Greenburg to “Go f**k yourself, I don’t care how important you are in the business.”
