if you were a new york sports fan (or pretend for this question to answer) should you hate Drew Bledsoe?

Friday, May 7th, 2010

on september 21, 2001 the new england patriots were being beat by the New york jets. Later in the game a ny jet linbacker knocked Drew Bledsoe out of the game and Tom Brady became the started from there on and the rest is history. Also, on october 23, 2006 a monday night game, the New York Giants were dominating the Dallas Cowboys and knocked out (yet again) Drew Bledsoe out of the game bringing in Tony Romo. And Romo has become one of the NFL’s brightest stars. Now if you are not a new york football fan (I am) try to put yourself in that situation where lets say you have two football teams that you root for and they are both playing and beating the arch rivals badly and from that beating emerges two great franchise quarterbacks. And the quarterback that was knocked out was the same player.

How would you feel about that Player (Drew Bledsoe)?

Isn’t Dallas more like the New York Yankees of football, and not New England?

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

New England’s actually won a Super Bowl (3, to be exact) in the 21st century. Dallas did not.

Yankee fans claim that the New York Yankees are one of the richest, most liked franchises in the sport, but a majority of every other fanbase disagrees. Same situation with the Cowboys.

WITH Terell Owens and Tony Romo, Dallas can and will not win a Super Bowl, just like New York probably can’t capture a World Series with Alex Rodriguez.

The media has just as much interest for a Cowboy loss as they would with a say, another team scoring 20 runs in a game. The media had QUITE a bit more to say about Dallas than when SD’s second-stringers practically ripped up Indy. When the Yankees lost, nobody cared about Cleveland…. it was all about what would become of the team.

Anyone see where I’m getting at?
Nate, your source isn’t credible because you are a Cowboy fan. The Red Sox are hated much more than the Yankees. Now go cry about Dallas stinking it up and choking (again) and come back next year.

Can The New York Giants Win The Division?

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Giants fans recjoiced with the news that Romo was out for at least 3 weeks but Jerry Jones shut us down with the acquisition of Roy Williams.
Will Dallas’ offense overshadow their defensive woes? Will Washington or Philly shock the Giants and Dallas?
No team bashing. Your thoughts?

Why Does New York Yankees Owner George Steinbrenner Have High Expectations For The Yankees?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

I have realized that the owner of the New York Yankees George Steinbrenner has high expectations for his ball club, the New York Yankees. Every year, it seems that he wants his team to Win The World Series and if you do not win to his expectations, you face consequences
Also, why does Steinbrenner have high expectations that the owners of most other franchises. For example, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones does not have consequences when the Cowboys do not make the post season. and the Owner of the NBA Detroit Pistons William Davidson does not have consequences for the team not winning the NBA Championship.
Why does New York Yankees owner have such high expectations for the Yankees baseball club when other team owners in other professional sports and Major League Baseball do not expect that everything has to be perfect?
