The cowboys clinch first round bye with a win and 2 vikings losses
According to this link:

The cowboys need a win + 2 Vikings losses + Arizona loss or tie
So which of these scenarios is right? Thanks for the help

Yeah they need to win obviously, have minnesota lose both, and Arizona lose.
Although that sounds like a lot, the way Minnesota has been playing, and the fact that they may rest favre—it’s not totally out of the question. And Arizona is playing GB, so they could lose that one also.
well they would also have to win their division so the eagles would also have to lose, you cant get a first round bye if you dont win your division.
ok i just checked and saw that dallas is playing philly the last game so they clinch the east if they win and then that makes the second scenario you listed correct
Just have Jerry Jones Pay the NFL enough money to get whatever seed he wants like he usually does
Its not going too happen they are going to be wild card.
