What Happens To Shirts Hats Etc Of Teams Who Don’t Win The Superbowl, World Series Etc?
When a sports team wins the superbowl or world series they always already have a shirt ready to go saying their name as superbowl champs. I wonder what happens to the shirts of the other team that say they won the superbowl. For example if Dallas and New England were to be in superbowl this year a company would make shirts that say Dallas Cowboys Superbowl Champs and shirts that say New England Patriorts Superbowl champs. If New England were to win the superbowl what happens to the Dallas Cowboys Superbowl Champs t-shirts??

They used to destroy them. But they noted that people in third world countries didn’t have any clothes, so it would be wrong to destroy them just because of their markings.
So they now give them to children in third world countries mostly in Africa.
wildy is right. I’ve seen pics of kids in Africa with the losing team’s Super Bowl t-shirts. I’m sure some of them get leaked too.
Believe it or not, but I read somewhere that they take the losers clothes and donate them to a 3rd world country so they can be clothed with decent clothes. The people there would not know the difference because of lack of televisions, etc.
Of course they were destroyed. They want this done right because the losing team may feel humiliated once any of these aborted products leaked to E-bay, which some nefarious individuals may perpetuate because it could fetch thousands of dollars as they are rare.

Hmmm very good question. Because those go on sale like right away. Its like that newspaper that says Dewey won the Presidential election. Bummer they destroy them (according to the person)……… That must be a lot of shirts they destroy.
Thats a good question. If I was a betting man I would bet that they are destroyed since they are NFL copyrighted and they dont want that one of a kind stuff auctioned of on ebay. But that is just an educated guess.
They destroy them, but some still leak out to the public, and people get a hold of then.
