What should my Camera Settings be for a Sporting Event?

In this case, I’m going to the Manny Pacquiao fight in Dallas. I have a Canon EOS XS Rebel, and what should my settings be for best quality? (FPS, ISO, ETC.) I will most likely be sitting far from the ring itself, and I will be using a Telescopic lens. Thank you!

I would put it on the Sports mode, take a pic of the ring before the fight, and see what the camera sets for aperture and shutter speed. I would then go to shutter priority, keep the shutter speed from the Sports mode, and vary the aperture to get the best pix.

    Enjoy the fight!

there will be a setting for the fast shutter speed , your iso is a hard one , you need to evealuate that there . but keep all auto , unless you have a sport setting
